Journeys to Refuge
June is World Refugee Month, which is highlighted by World Refugee Day on June 20.
This year, CCS' Migration and Refugee Services team is celebrating with our annual event, Journeys to Refuge. We hope you'll join us for this year's event on June 20th from 5:00-8:00 pm at Liberty Park.
Event attendees will enjoy food, learn about the world of refugee resettlement, celebrate the cultures of our many clients, and discover ways they can support the incredible work of welcoming newcomers. Make sure to take advantage of the photo booth and grab dinner from one of two food trucks on site.
Donations of household items for refugee clients will be accepted at the event. Click here to see our current high priority items and other donation needs.
If you're interested in sponsorship opportunities for the event, please contact Maresha Bosgieter at
For ADA reasonable accommodations contact Leul Mengistu, at 801-425-0673.
