A Christmas Message

05 December 2018 Published in News & Events

With the Advent Season upon us, I am reminded of the great love our Savior has for each and every one of his children and how he has manifested that love through all of you. It is a time to reflect on the ups and downs of the year past and this year CCS has much to be grateful for.

2018 has been a very exciting year for us here at CCS. With your help we were able to complete construction on our 12,000 square foot additional warehouse space for our Joyce Hansen Hall Food Bank which is the largest food pantry in the State and distributes more than 3 million pounds of food each year, we have continued advocate for refugees and immigrants in our community amid the current political climate, and were honored to have been chosen to operate the Men's and Women's Homeless Resource Center on Paramount Ave. All of this has only been made possible because of YOU!

Each day we are faced with opportunities to emulate Christ by lifting up someone in need. Let us not forget Christ’s love for us and his enduring teachings. Let us care for the sick, poor, and homeless, and make the decision today and every day to answer the door, to head the call for help. Together, we can make a difference. Together, we can we welcome the refugee, the immigrant, the homeless, the hungry. Join us by making a donation to bless those in need and save lives today.

Happy Holidays!
