Refugee Foster Care

Created in 1979, the Refugee Foster Care Program provides temporary guardians, housing for unaccompanied refugee children until family members are located or until the children are eighteen years of age. Catholic Community Services of Utah works with families in our community to provide substitute care for refugee minors whose parents are unable to come to the United States or are deceased. These families provide care, with the assistance of CCS, until the children can be reunited with their families or become adult members of the community.
