Marillac Outpatient Treatment
for Women

Marillac Women's Treatment is an outpatientl substance abuse treatment program for women, which also provides case management for their dependent children. The program involves intensive recovery treament for problems of addiction. It helps them overcome poverty and homelessness with life skills training, case management, therapy, advocacy and support. The focus is on long-term solutions for substance abuse disorders rather than sobriety.

The majority of women who use the services of Marillac House are experiencing a multitude of problems that have escalated to a crisis point in their lives. Many of the women who receive treatment at Marillac also have some history of family violence.

In addition to treatment, women are provided referrals to appropriate agencies, job training and other community resources. The CCS staff assists in teaching them responsibility, productive decision-making patterns and viable life skills.
